Mountain Plating is a premier hard chrome plating facility located in North Idaho. Mountain Plating was established in 1997 as one of the first hard chrome plating facilities in Idaho. Mountain Plating services a wide variey of industries nationwide including manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, mining, environmental, and timber. Hard Chrome or Engineered Plating is used to reduce friction, add wear resistance, and increase corrosive resistance. Hard Chrome Plating is rated at 66-74 HRC. Mountain Plating currently offers two types of chrome plating baths, one standard and one high-speed catalyst. Mountain Plating is committed to providing the highest quality chrome plating and customer service in the industry, from single parts to production parts. Mountain Plating can accomodate parts up to 20 feet in length and diameters up to 3 feet to help meet our customer's needs.
Mountain Plating is proud to be a a permit free zero percent waste water discharge facility, which means no water is treated and released from our facility. Our rinse water is filtered and reused to maintain bath levels.
